My Training – I received formative training as a Health Coach at the Harvard Graduate School of Education Ed.M. program where I focused on how to work with clients to teach healthy ingredients-centered cooking. I also trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition‘s cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. As part of my training as a health coach, I have studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers include Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities. My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
I am also a trained Positive Intelligence (PQ) coach. Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice. The PQ Program is an approach that helps you develop your mental fitness toward sustainable habitual changes.
I am also a yoga teacher, specializing in teaching students with autism. I received my 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification at Nepal Yoga Home in Kathmandu, Nepal.
